Wharton Doctoral Programs – Summer Math Camp
What is it:
Preparation for core courses in applied economics and statistics.
Will cover the basics of optimization theory and perhaps offer a short two lecture sequence on probability theory as well.
This is a zero credit class and will not show up on your transcript.
Who will/should take it:
All students planning to take Economics 681-682 sequence will be expected to have mastered this material, either from prior course work or by passing the Math Camp “final” exam.
Students who are directed to do so by their program’s PhD coordinator.
