Kate Wood, WG’15
Managing Director, Goldman Sachs
Kate leads the Credit Risk Analytics & Reporting practice in Risk Engineering. Previously, she managed the Analytics & Reporting team within Credit Risk. Kate joined Goldman Sachs as an analyst in 2008 and was named managing director in 2017. Kate serves as a trustee of Western Reserve Academy. She earned a BA in Finance Boston University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
During her decade-long tenure at Goldman Sachs, Kate has been heavily involved in women’s affinity groups. She has greatly benefitted from these groups through mentorship and career-development opportunities. During our discussion with Kate, we will work to understand how, at the age and experience level of Wharton students, we can be allies in uplifting women and other underrepresented groups in the workplace.
