Michele Glatter directs the Point72 Academy Data Science Program, a new track of Point72’s Academy that recruits and transforms early career professionals into Long/Short Equity Data Scientists to be placed on investing teams.
She joined the Firm in 2018, bringing more than 15 years of industry experience in quantitative research. Prior to Point72, Michele led data science and quantitative research at a real estate tech startup. Before that she worked as a quantitative researcher in algorithmic corporate bond market making for both KCG Holdings (formerly Knight Capital) and Citadel Securities. Michele began her career at Citadel as a quantitative researcher in the hedge fund’s portfolio construction group.
She earned her B.A. with a double major in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Rochester, and an M.S. in Statistics from the University of Chicago.
